Liposuction (suctioning fatty tissue) and lipoinjection (injecting fatty tissue) are combined in liposculpture, modifying adipose accumulations, until achieving a beautiful, harmonious and slender figure. Depending on the needs, liposuction can be performed with ultrasound or laser.
The procedure is generally performed on an outpatient basis under sedation and anesthesia. In addition, post-surgical therapies, hyperbaric therapy, and the use of a post-operative belt are required, the duration of which varies according to the extent of the procedure.
Hematomas and edema in the surgical area are to be expected, in this type of intervention, but they resolve spontaneously in 30 days.
